LAW ENFORCEMENT FORUM
On April 18th, the Lapeer County Career Preparations Coordinators hosted a Law Enforcement Forum, at The Lapeer County Education and Technical Center. Speakers from many different areas of Law Enforcement spent the day talking to high school students about this career area. The students in attendance were from all Lapeer County high schools. These students had expressed an interest in a Law Enfrocement career and have asked to job shadow or meet someone in a specific career. Since the September 11th tragedy, this has become impossible due to safety reasons. This day was a result of all of their requests.
